Night

Finally, all is quiet and silent and I finally get to relax in the dark,
I close my eyes and I'm transported to wherever you are,
Drink in hand walking through the bar, I can feel the drunkness
In your soul, my dear, and I can see the neon signs above the bar,
Beckoning me closer to wherever you are...
Finally all is quiet and you're in your bed, staring at the ceiling,
The room is spinning around you and I can see your thoughts
Doing the same, spinning around you, spiraling out of control,
Out of your grasp, pulling me into your consciousness,
Pulling me between your sheets and in your arms
Because my thoughts always do the same too when I'm in bed,
Alone, laying in the dark, they always come rushing to you,
To your lips and your soft fingertips on my hips...
Finally, all is quiet and silent and I finally fall asleep
Dreaming of you like I always do lately...
