Menelaus

Where are you now, my Menelaus?
Have your ships been sunken by the gods?
Have your men been drowned by gorgeous sirens,
And has your faith in me dissolved so soon?
Where are you now, my king of kings?
Has your wealth run dry looking for me?
Or have you given up and changed your course
For a much calmer sea?
Where are you now, my one true love?
Have you abandoned me in my new home?
Have you decided not to bother, or
Have the Trojans sent you home?

Where are you now. my Menelaus?
I thought you'd tear the world apart to find me,
To rescue me from the dark waves of the night,
From Paris' overbearing sight?
Where are you now, my Menelaus?
For Paris found another toy... and here I am,
Your Helena, waiting for you, my king, my love, my joy...
I'm telling you a trap can happen, and you can burn this
Damned town to rubble... to ashes blown by wind...
As long as you come get me soon.
