Asleep

There's a bond that solidifies the line in the sand,
And I can feel you, distantly, in the night.
A piece of my soul locked into yours
And when I close my eyes, we are safe.
Butterfly wings hold us asleep,
And with butterfly kisses we reunite once more
Because when the sun sets it's all easy again,
And I, once again, am content.
